19 Apr 2005: Meet 5406: The Next Generation, a.k.a.
The 4620. Surely we can come up with a better name,
but, Christ, the ink on the lease isn't dry yet. Give us a
few hours.


This is the place. We're the 2nd floor. 1st floor are the
owners, The Friedmans. No relation, but there seems to
be a universal code of Cool Friedmanism, because
they're effin cool.

The little windows on the 3rd fl. are an apt. for overnight
guests.

First person to call it a "balcony" gets thrown out.
That is a veranda.

If you were to stand on your front steps and look
across the street and see this, then you'd be me.

The yard is huge and beautiful. Unfortunately, we only
thought to take a picture of the side of the house,
instead. But anyone impressed by this will wet himself
upon seeing the rest....

The listing on the house included this photo of the back
yard. It hardly does justice. On Tuesdays and Thursdays,
the Baltimore Ravens conduct practice on this lawn.
... Okay, no, they don't, but they could. ... Okay, no, they
couldn't, but it's a lawn, is what I'm saying. It's big....

This was from the listing. No, we don't get the funky
chairs (damn damn damn...) , but note the beaut. floors
and working fireplace. Because trusting McLeester and
Johnson with open flame is a good idea.
